Should you need assistance with your travel arrangements to and from the hotel, please contact the Concierge Team prior to your arrival. You can contact the hotel by phone, E-mail, fax or in person. We are open 24 hours; however response to E-mails may be reduced from 11pm to 6am.
All guests should use the main entrance of the hotel located upon a left hand turn as you drive in to the Oceana resort. There are no steps at the hotel’s main entrance however a ramp can be provided, upon request, for wheelchair access from the vehicle. The main entrance has 2 doors as well as a third revolving door allowing wider access. Cars must not be left unattended at the hotel entrance for long periods of time as there are parking restriction outside the hotel and will obstruct the flow of traffic. Our Valet team are available for valet parking and will greet you on arrival. This service is complimentary for all in-house guests and guests who dine in our restaurants. Our car parking facilities are located on site on B1, B2 and B3. If you need assistance with luggage, equipment or guidance, our team of Porters and Concierge are on duty 24 hours and are more than happy to assist.
The Reception is a few steps forward to your left when entering the main entrance. The Concierge is located immediately to your left when entering the hotel and is clearly identifiable. There are a number of chairs and tables in the lobby. In the centre of the lobby, lifts can be accessed to your left, and to your right, taking you either to our hotel bedrooms or apartments, as well as other offerings. Ramps can be provided, upon request, for wheelchair access. The Bar is located on the Mezzanine floor and can be accessed via two stairwells extending from the lobby, or via lift service. GBR Restaurant is located through the lobby at the farthest end from the hotels main entrance, and can be accessed via wheelchair. The floor surface throughout the Reception area is marble. Familiarisation tours are offered upon check-in. Our lifts serve all of our public services.
All lifts have tactile buttons at standard height and all our public areas and outlets can be accessed via our lift service.
There are several public restrooms for males and females throughout the hotel and these are situated in the lobby, Mezzanine Floor, 1st Floor, 3rd Floor and the 14th Floor.
Separate male and female prayer rooms are located on the Mezzanine Floor.
Laundry and dry cleaning services are offered. Bags are available in rooms and must be collected by 10am every day to be returned on the same day between 7 – 8pm. Express service takes 6 hours.
Guests are encouraged to enjoy the most of our beach location, and we offer complimentary access to our West 14th Beach Club situated a few minutes from the hotel. Guests can reach the Beach Club either by exiting the main entrance and taking a short golf buggy ride down to the resort, or by exiting through the GBR Restaurant terrace, stepping down approx. 20 steps, and then walking a flat surface to the resort. There is a swimming pool at West 14th Beach Club and this is staffed by lifeguards from 8am – 10pm.
The hotel has seven meeting rooms and we offer dynamic use facilities and some rooms furniture can be removed as required.
There are four accessible rooms available and these are located on the 1st and 2nd floors. Accessible bedrooms provide specific facilities for guests with disability, which includes a level entry shower. Flooring in bedrooms is short pile carpet. Flooring in bathrooms is non-slip. The furniture is flexible and items can be moved or removed upon request.
If you require any assistance during your stay please contact our Reception or Concierge Teams. The Duty Manager can also be contacted via Reception 24 hours a day. We have a set evacuation procedure, for basic information – Alarm bells are a continuous alarm. Any guests with special needs within the Hotel will be called by the Duty Manager in their room upon the activation of the alarm and notified that the Fire Service is on their way to assist them to evacuate. All front of house staff have regular training which includes disability awareness training. All Housekeeping staff have been trained and are aware of procedures to aid privacy in bedrooms.
